PEDIATRIC OPHTHALMOLOGY
Danbury Eye Physicians specializes in eye care matters related to children. In their own wing of the practice children are given special priority to help solve early vision problems such as amblyopia and strabismus.
Kristy L. Unflat, Au.D., is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser whose expertise is specifically in the treatment of late onset nerve deafness in patients over the age of 55.
Dr. Unflat has been licensed with the State of New York Department of Health since 2005 and is now also licensed in the State of Connecticut. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA) as well as a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association from which she holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).
In her time working in both hospital and private practice settings, Dr. Unflat has successfully fit hundreds of patients with state of the art digital amplification from some of the largest hearing aid manufacturers in the world.
Dr. Unflat now dedicates 100% of her time, knowledge and experience to Danbury Eye Physicians & Surgeons as the Director of Hearing Services.
Dr. Unflat provides a wide array of professional services including:

What to expect from your hearing evaluation:
Dr. Unflat will perform a comprehensive hearing evaluation with results and recommendations provided at the same appointment.
Based on test results, hearing instruments may be prescribed for those patients who qualify.
We offer competitively priced state of the art digital hearing instruments from trusted hearing aid manufacturers. Instruments range in price from around $1000-$3000 depending on technology prescribed for your specific needs. No interest financing is offered through Care Credit.
